Mark Griffin

Vice President

Mark Griffin is vice president of Hunt Oil Company where he is responsible for project engineering in the business development group, including concept evaluation and facilities development.

Before being named to this position, he served Hunt Oil Company in numerous capacities including vice president in charge of Hunt Oil development projects ranging from development drilling on Hunt producing properties to capital workovers and facilities installations. Previously, he was vice president in charge of the company’s purchasing and health, safety and environment functions. Before that assignment, he served as vice president and general manager of Yemen Hunt Oil Company, manager of exploration and production in Yemen, general manager of U.S. production, manager of reservoir engineering and senior reservoir engineer. He joined the company in 1985.

Griffin earned a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Texas. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
